I have recorded vocals to Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" with vocalist Charlotte Ward.
The vocals were recorded using a Rode NT2A microphone. I used a Rode NT2A because it is a versatile microphone with a flat and wide frequency response, so it is suited to all kinds of vocal ranges, and with high SPLs of 157dB to allow it to record louder recordings well.
We also recorded using the NT2A because it is Charlotte's personal preference over the Genesis microphone which we used to record Seven Nation Army earlier during the project, because it gives a softer sound, better suited to Charlotte's vocals.
